Handling Notice
⚠️
Please follow all handling instructions carefully to ensure safe and proper use of the component.
- Please don't touch the component with the bare hand, because electrode maybe corroded.
- Avoid excessive pulling lead wire because wire may break or soldering point may come off.
- The circuits utilizes transistor switching. The circuit constants for heft of the transistor are optimally chosen to maintain stable, so please follow it when you design a circuit.
- Magnetic sounders are driven by an input frequency. The given frequency characteristics can be obtained only when applying 1/2 duty square wave (Vb-p). The end-users must know the facts that the characteristics of frequency may be quite change in different shapes with the applied various waves, like sine wave, square wave (Vb-p) or the other waves.
- When other voltage are applied than recommended one, the characteristics of frequency will be also changed.
- Please keep proper distance for strong magnetic field when you storing, transiting and mounting.
🔩
Soldering and Mounting
- Please read of HYDZ specification, if soldering component is needed.
- Washing of the component is not acceptable, because it is not sealed.
- Please do not cover the hole with tape or other obstacles, as this will produce irregular operation.
❓
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q What is the difference between HYG9605B-03 and HYG9605B-05?The main difference lies in the rated voltage and operating voltage range. The HYG9605B-03 operates at a rated voltage of 3 Vp-p with an operating range of 2.5–4.5 Vp-p, while the HYG9605B-05 is rated at 5 Vp-p with an operating range of 3–8 Vp-p. All other electrical parameters remain the same between the two models.
-
Q What is the resonant frequency of the HYG9605B series? The resonant frequency of both HYG9605B-03 and HYG9605B-05 is 2600 ± 300 Hz. This frequency is shared across both models and should be considered when designing your circuit.
-
Q What type of input signal should be used to drive the magnetic sounder? The magnetic sounder should be driven with a 1/2 duty square wave (Vb-p) at the resonant frequency. Using other waveforms such as sine waves or full-range square waves (Vb-p) will change the frequency characteristics and may result in reduced or unstable performance.
-
Q Is the HYG9605B series RoHS compliant?Yes, both HYG9605B-03 and HYG9605B-05 comply with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) environmental protection directive, making them suitable for use in environmentally conscious product designs.
-
Q What temperature range is suitable for operating and storing the HYG9605B?The operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C. For storage, the component can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +80°C. Keeping the component within these ranges ensures long-term reliability and stable performance.
-
Q Can the HYG9605B sounder be washed after soldering? No. Washing of the component is not acceptable after soldering because the component is not sealed. Exposure to liquids or cleaning agents could damage internal elements and lead to malfunction or failure. Additionally, the sound hole must never be covered with tape or other materials, as this will cause irregular operation.
