China Suppliers Factory Hydz D17H4 Piezoelectric Sounder - Low Power, Reliable Sound for Electronics

Product Features:

Microcomputers are essential components widely utilized in various appliances including microwave ovens, air conditioners, automobiles, toys, timers, and alarm systems. Additionally, externally driven piezoelectric sounders play a crucial role in digital watches, electronic calculators, telephones, and other electronic devices.

These sounders are activated by signals (e.g., 2048Hz or 4096Hz) from LSI chips, producing a melodious sound that enhances user experience.

1. Low power consumption for energy efficiency

2. Noiseless operation and high reliability

3. Fully automated production for cost-effectiveness

As a leading manufacturer in China, our factory specializes in providing top-quality microcomputers and sounders. We are dedicated to supplying innovative solutions to clients around the world, further establishing ourselves as trusted suppliers in the industry.

    Notice (Handling)

    • Do not apply DC bias to the piezoelectric buzzer; otherwise insulation resistance may become low and affect performance.
    • Do not supply any voltage higher than applicable to the piezoelectric buzzer.
    • Do not use the piezoelectric buzzer outdoors. It is designed for indoor use. If required outdoors, provide waterproofing measures to prevent moisture failure.
    • Do not wash the buzzer with solvent or allow gas to enter it during washing, as entrapped solvent can cause long-term damage.
    • The sound generator uses a ∼100µm thick ceramic material. Do not press through the sound release hole to prevent breakage, and do not stack buzzers without packing.
    • Do not apply mechanical force to avoid case deformation and operational defects.
    • Do not place shielding materials directly in front of the sound hole, and ensure it is not affected by standing waves to avoid sound pressure fluctuations.
    • Solder terminals at 350°C max (80W max soldering iron tip) within 5 seconds using silver-containing solder.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to corrosive gases (such as H2S) to prevent component and sound generator corrosion.
    • Be careful not to drop the piezoelectric buzzer during transit or assembly.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the resonant frequency and sound pressure level of HYR-1704P?

The HYR-1704P operates at a resonant frequency of 4.0 KHz and generates a sound output of ≥80 dB at a distance of 10 cm with a 5Vp-p square wave.

What is the maximum allowable input voltage?

The maximum input voltage rating for this model is 30 Vp-p. Applying higher voltage may damage the piezoelectric element.

What are the recommended soldering conditions for manual soldering?

Terminal soldering should be completed within 5 seconds at a maximum iron tip temperature of 350°C (80W max) using solder that contains silver.

Can the HYR-1704P buzzer be installed in outdoor equipment?

The buzzer is primarily designed for indoor use. If outdoor application is necessary, appropriate waterproof and moisture-proof protection must be implemented.

What is the operating and storage temperature range?

The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C, and the safe storage temperature range is -30°C to +80°C.

What housing material is used for this model?

The housing is made of durable Black PBT engineering plastic, offering high stability with an overall lightweight footprint of 0.7g.
